Hand-thrown in stoneware, this compact bud vase features a deep, near-black glaze etched with fine vertical striping.

Below, an unglazed stoneware base offers a raw, sandy contrast to the glossy glaze above — with the collection's small hand-etched smiley tucked low on the body.

Perfectly sized for a single stem or sprig, it holds its own as a quiet, sculptural object even without one.

As with all pieces in the Grid series, no two vases glaze exactly alike. Variation in striping, tone, and glaze pooling is expected and part of each piece's individual character.
